Kids Sewing - 2025

Kids sewing classes generally meet on the second Saturday of the month and are designed specifically for kids (ages 8 - 15) who are new to sewing or have limited sewing experience. In this class, students will learn to use a sewing machine and make a simple project that they can show off to friends and family while learning the basics.
The yearly projects will be as follows:
- May – Bow Book Sleeve
- June – No Class
- July – No Class
- August – Pencil Pouch
- September – Holiday Tote
- October – Reindeer Apron - Part 1 (must attend both months)
- November – Reindeer Apron - Part 2 (must attend both months)
October/November Supplies
1 yard cotton fabric (khaki or beige) for apron
1/2 yard contrasting cotton fabric 1 of Christmas Design
1/2 yard contrasting cotton fabric 2 of Christmas Design
3 sheets brown felt
1 sheet red felt
1 sheet white felt
1 sheet black felt
Coordinating thread
Note: Fabric must be no-stretch cotton.
