Kids Sewing - 2025
Kids sewing classes generally meet on the second Saturday of the month and are designed specifically for kids (ages 8 - 15) who are new to sewing or have limited sewing experience. In this class, students will learn to use a sewing machine and make a simple project that they can show off to friends and family while learning the basics.
The yearly projects will be as follows:
- May – Bow Book Sleeve
- June – No Class
- July – No Class
- August –
- September –
- October –
- November –
May Supplies (available at SSC)
2 – 16.5” x 11” cotton fabric for outside & lining
1– 16.5”x11” fusible fleece
2 – 2.75” x 10.25” cotton fabric for bow
Note: Fabric must be no-stretch cotton
