Kids Sewing - 2026
Kids sewing classes generally meet on the second Saturday of the month and are designed specifically for kids (ages 8 - 15) who are new to sewing or have limited sewing experience. In this class, students will learn to use a sewing machine and make a simple project that they can show off to friends and family while learning the basics.
September Project
We will be making a Library Book Tote Bag in September. You will need the following supplies:
- Bag Body 1/2 yard cotton fabric
- Lining 1/2 yard cotton fabric
- Straps 1/4 yard cotton fabric
- Coordinating thread

Supplies
• 1/4 yard fabric or 3 Fat quarters for each color (1 white, 1 yellow, and 1 orange)• Stuffing (poly-fil)
