Kids Sewing - 2026
Kids sewing classes generally meet on the second Saturday of the month and are designed specifically for kids (ages 8 - 15) who are new to sewing or have limited sewing experience. In this class, students will learn to use a sewing machine and make a simple project that they can show off to friends and family while learning the basics.
March Project
We will be making a Mini Easter Egg Basket in March. You will need the following supplies:
- 1/4 yard of Fabric for outer basket
- 1/4 yard of Fabric for inner basket
- 1/4 yard of SF101 interfacing
- Matching thread
- Sewing Machine
- Pins or clips
- Scissors
April Project - Tablet Plop
- 1/3 yard cotton fabric
- 1/3 yard contrasting cotton fabric
- 2 bags beans for stuffing
